@no1marauder saiddo you really need for someone to tell you a man is a man?
"Simplest" doesn't equal "best".
I'd leave it to the governing sports bodies to set the rules, not politicians pandering to hate groups.
Whether it's "fair" or not is a question for experts in the area not internet posters.
@shavixmir saidyou bring up very good points here.
You find that fair. But people who have had sex changes will not.
As I’ve stated, I aknowledge the problem of trans athletes competing in female competitions, but if they’ve had sex changes and are for all intensive purposes female (whether you or I agree or not), they can hardly participate with male competitions (and shower afterwards).
So, banning them from female ...[text shortened]... bits of animal.
Would you say the consequences are more akin to a game of chess or driving a bus?
A transwoman with a sex change is embarrassed now to shower with the men, and rightfully so.
On the other hand, if she showered with the women, there would be several women - not one, that feel embarrassed.
You see, many people take the side of transperson anyway, because the transperson is thought to be special.
Needless to say, I don't. I weigh everyone's needs.
About the blind chess player, that is simple to resolve.
These transwomen are taking away prize money, gold medals, and college scholarships from the regular women.
that is not fair and is not so easy to resolve.
As far as the importance to sports,, all I can say is, it depends.
If you eliminated sports, there would be millions of african americans that would want to die.
Let's get it right

Sign language is an official language in NZ if you want to translate what the hand waving gimp is saying Youtube has a feature that instantly converts spoken speech to text, thus rendering the hand waving gimp superfluous.
BTW Shytkins, the answer is adult female human
