This is abrogation of responsibility, the responsibility to help out states when they don't have enough money to do the jobs themselves.

You have no choice but to cut your spending which means defunding things and massive layoffs.
The alternative is the world stops using the US dollar as its reserve currency which reduces the demand for US dollars which drives its value down which means runaway inflation in the US making the problem even worse.

It shows the US debt growing by each administration for the past 40 years. Looks how much it's increased since the 80's. It shows how much each administration increased the US, both dems and reps. Learn man.
