WASHINGTON—The Trump administration said it is using an untested strategy to rescind $4.9 billion in foreign aid without congressional approval, sparking a backlash on Capitol Hill and setting the stage for a messy and potentially market-rattling month ahead of a deadline for avoiding a government shut down
Now THIS something to jawbone about. I am not so sure myself about it! We could use the money though, to try to put down and jail the criminals that have erupted in our country. A lot of issues going on. I am proud that Trump can handle so many issues at once.
@AverageJoe1 saidDon't you wish he could "handle an issue" without acting in a blatantly illegal and unconstitutional way for a change?

@no1marauder saidYou say categorically that it is unconstitutional and illegal. Strong statements, which you should not recklessly state withouth having researched it, you and Sonhouse. Knee jerk statements. I should prepare you that he knows what he is doing. Recall I predicted all 7 swing states, and 312 Electoral votes, I think he got 318. So now I predict without reservation that the majority of USA, with more Gen Z voters everyday, will tilt to his performance of getting rid of crime, housing , etc..., he knows the ins and outs of Everything, and is putting that talented mind to good use. I predict the Repubs will win in 2026.

Did you see FOX mocking the light-footed faerie Gavin Newsome, with clips of his arms waving all over, like the Tim Walz guy, saying profanity? In a window next to it, they show him sitting at a desk which looks to be his statehouse office making a speech, with. his hands clinched on the desk motionless. What a fake. (Trump does not need wave hands...he just needs to be Trump). Tell us, who is Newsome??
Watch for upcoming news of how he is tring to be more like Trump to win votes Marauder....one of your main leaders 😆 is TRYING TO BE LIKE TRUMP!

@AverageJoe1 saidOh, Trying to be like Trump? You mean like when he called the AG of Georgia, I need 11680 votes, see what you can do to help me and then does the same phone call in SEVERAL states wanting them to illegally give him votes.

And just a few weeks ago literally Trump himself calling big REPUB wigs in Texas, Hey redistrict (in the middle of a ten year term, unheard of) Texas so we can gain 5 seats in the House.
So they did, because their Lord Trump wants to be King Trump and they fall over backwards to give a would be dictator everything he wants.
Nothing fishy here though is there?
@sonhouse saidSean house I’m your buddy. This is a great example of why people look at your post with disdainful surmise. Why can’t you just respond to my post. That this wanna be with his open shirt collar, which you never see Trump our president looking like, is floundering around looking for a way to become our president. We guess who the best teacher would be? It would be fun if you could start answering posts like we all do.
Oh, Trying to be like Trump? You mean like when he called the AG of Georgia, I need 11680 votes, see what you can do to help me and then does the same phone call in SEVERAL states wanting them to illegally give him votes.

I am amazed you bring about this Trump phone call looking for a vote, do you know that average Joe does not remember one thing about that, and I never will. Time moves on,. And we move on.
@sonhouse said“They did BECAUSE their Lord wants to be King Trump” all of these distinguished, fine statesman, these fine gentlemen, great of standing men, white Trump to be a King..

Just wanted to be sure I got that right,. that you think that. And that you want us to think that, of course. Do you want us to think that? If you don’t, why did you write it?
Si, tell us all what you are driving at. This is your big moment. I know that you think Trump wants to be King but your post says that these people in Texas want him to be king. You are obligated on the form to make your case.!!!!! Geez. Pulling teeth.
Cmon….stay with us here….

@AverageJoe1 saidI just showed you one of the ways Trump went rogue where if you or I had done that we would have been in jail. But DOJ had soft shoed Trump for the last ten years,

@sonhouse saidI will say this.....I amnot disappointed in Trump, re the court ruling on Tariffs yesterday, I am disappointed that congress did not 'keep up' with his policies and make his tariff actions official…..get behind him. They sat on their hands and had not figured on this. Now they will have to all get together and settle it there, so we won't have a few judges finding his actions to be questionable. They may well be questionable, my head is not in the sand. It is troubling. So Congress, get off of your duffs and make his movements legal. We have to have fair tariffs. You libs want 'fair'?? It does not seem that you do.

@AverageJoe1 saidI agree Congress should step in as do the libertarians at Reason:

"Rather than providing relief in the form of a new or renewed injunction, the appeals court has effectively said that Trump is illegally taxing nearly all imports into the country and that Americans will have to continue paying those taxes while the rest of the legal process plays out.
Rather than wait for that to happen, Congress should now get involved. It's clear that Trump's tariffs do not have the legal standing to survive in the long term, and lawmakers could save everyone a lot of pain by cancelling the economic emergency that underpins the tariffs."
