Former president Donald Trump’s namesake company was convicted of tax crimes committed by two of its longtime executives after a Manhattan trial that gave jurors a peek at some of the inner workings of the Trump Organization’s finances.
The real estate, hospitality and golf resort operation headquartered at Trump Tower on Fifth Ave. faces the possibility of a $1.6 million fine. New York Supreme Court jurors began their deliberations mid-day on Monday. The company was charged with scheme to defraud, conspiracy, criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records.
OK - Now I'm a little less angry with the snail's pace of legal proceedings against Republican demigod Donald J Trump. Hopefully the collection of other investigations will gain some momentum, and that conservatives will stop worshiping The Donald as the Messiah.

Who was the accountant who did those taxes?
@sonhouse saidBillionaires don't do their own taxes. That is what accountants are for. They know all of the tax loopholes to take advantage of. Common sense.
@Metal-Brain
Why don't you ask Trump?
@metal-brain saidTax loopholes are legal if immoral trump is not being investigated for using tax loopholes they are put in the system by the government on the orders of their paymasters.

Trump is being investigated for tax evasion not avoidance and a slew of other irregularities that should come to light via his tax records.
@metal-brain saidThis is somewhat dated, there is probably newer news out there:

@sonhouse saidEven if he didn’t know, which isn’t likely, he signed all the cheques for the perks and signed the IRS forms declaring the data to be true and accurate; that makes him legally responsible.
@Booger
Hey, it's not over. His legal troubles are still there. He HAD to know what he was doing, he was the head of the snake and nothing went by him that meant spending money.
