Records show Donald and Ivanka Trump made donations to vice-president’s California attorney general re-election bid

as the Republican nominee refocuses his campaign to target Harris, there is one awkward truth that Trump will have to face. What about that check for $5,000 dated 26 September 2011, bearing Trump’s distinctive signature, and made payable to “Re-elect Attorney General Kamala D Harris 2014”?

In fact, the $5,000 donation was just one of several gifts from the Trump family to Harris at the time when she was working as California’s top prosecutor. Records held by the California secretary of state note the largest $5,000 donation, but also give details of a further $1,000 check from Trump to Harris from February 2013 at the start of her re-election campaign as the state’s attorney general.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka is also listed on the database as having given Harris $2,000 for her re-election committee in June 2014.

Both Trump and his daughter donated to get Kamala reelected.

Remember that the next time Trump's attacks Harris' record for when she served in California.

Trump donated to Kamala only 9 months before announcing his run for president.

When during that short time span did Trump "wake the eff up"?

@AverageJoe1
You mean the present where Trump was asked by his advisors to talk policy just yesterday but instead goes 'All those Eagles killed by wind mills and they cause cancer'.
Trump is the old fart now and showing his mental decline daily.
He is not the same as he was even a year ago, his decline is getting worse day by day. Talking about batteries underwater and sharks, what the HELL do you see in that? Does that tell you anything about how he feels on the price of medicines? Or what to do to help Ukraine? Instead he talks about pulling out of NATO, a REALLY STUPID IDEA.
But of course, since you are further right than even Trump, you fully agree with everything Trump pukes out of his orange mouth.

The post to which you refer regards checks written in support of political campaigns. You will not believe this, but many people, including myself, give money to both sides. It is a no-brainer in my profession, so whoever wins will know me favorably. And that is but one reason to donate. Let us not be boring about obvious triviality?? Thanks.

Kamala's 'record'...what she has done, most definitely must be broadcast to the masses...to Marauder's 'People'. You.
I'm not upset that you called me a name, goes with the territory.
So don't worry about it. It happens. Proof your posts prior to submitting?

Whew.

Do you give money to candidates you believe did well at their job or poorly?

If your answer is that you give money to good candidates who deserve reelection, then you see the problem here. Trump can't attack Kamala's record as Attorney General when he (and his daughter) both thought it was a good idea to support her reelection.

Don't you get it. People like me see two candidates, and know that one will win. One will win. To be successful (y'all just hate that word), I need to be friends with whomever the winner is.
If all businessmen do that, that means that each of them will have a friend in government, and each will be successful (y'all hate that word. )) in their respective businesses, creating jobs, growing America forward. That should do it, as I know you would have written back that I am 'only thinking of myself'. I am thinking of all productive citizens to be successful, and this is one of the things one does to remain on an even keel, no matter who wins.
Are we cool now? I'm sure you mean well.

So you're admitting Trump's politics aren't based on what's best for the country, only personal benefit.

Welcome to what the rest of the world knows.
