Yesterday, Donald Trump's lawyers asked the judge for another extension so they can review documents. The trial date is set for sometime next year. Trump and his legal team is in their familiar stall tactic pattern, but don't think for a second this issue will simply vanish. Prosecutors have reviewed Trump's tax records and this case will go to trial.

I'm sure this is true, but history does not judge a President's based on their library. Presidents are judged based on their accomplishments. 🙂

BTW, his buddy Weinstein and a bunch of others have just been indicted, now beyond the investigation stage.
There are checks in system signed by Trump that went to illegal paybacks.
Unfortunately the trials won't even start till next September.
Not bad timing actually, if the trial starts in Sept. 2022 and there is a guilty verdict before the November mid term elections, this will take some shine off the GOP brand.
