Both Rubio and Hegseth admitted the boat could have been interdicted and, if drugs were found on board, the people on board arrested as is done thousands of times a year. The decision to do an extrajudicial, illegal execution for demonstrative purposes is a shocking abuse of executive power.
Yes, other actions would have been possible, Kamala or Biden or Bush may have done it differently. Presidency ain't perfect. His reasons would be different you see. maybe as simply as sending a message. I think that such a message is warranted to stop drugs from coming into our country. Rubio made a speech that interdicting does not work, it may cost only about 2% of the cartels production ..they go for it
