About time the Trump family got some recognition. πŸ‘

That... is not how it works. Or rather, it is, but it doesn't mean anything.

Anyone may be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, if he can find one of the thousands of nominators to write his name on a form. There are as many as 200 nominees in some years. It doesn't mean that any member of the Committee takes such nominations seriously.

There's nothing special about being nominated. It's not an endorsement by the Nobel Committee, not even a partial one. Being on the shortlist would be, but those aren't made public until 50 years after the fact. Nor are the nominees, but of course it's easy to proclaim "I just nominated so-and-so"; not so easy to prove your nomination was shortlisted.

What happened with the first nomination ?

@AverageJoe1
So you pub anything you think will somehow exonerate Trump.

He won, but The Nobel Prize Committee's
votes were vaporized by a Zionist laser beam,
and the voting machines were then tainted,
in someone else's favor, by a dead ruler from Venezuela.

Well that is interesting πŸ€”

I assumed a nomination was serious.

Only because he was the first black president.

Even Obama disagreed with winning it by saying..."for what?"

He was genuinely not impressed with the "token" prize...

Eh, no. You're nominated to the Committee, not by it.

@Contenchess
You are going to ruin your reputation, actually saying you might have learned something.

But at least you admit itπŸ™‚

Partially agree;
I think the 'Peace Prize' was awarded more on The World's
repudiation of G.W.'s bogus Iraqi, 'War on Terror,'
than any of OBAMA's accomplishments.

Nonsense. It was handed to him on a platter, years before he did anything about the War For Terror.

Don't get me wrong, Obama was an immeasurably better president than his predecessor, and even if he'd felched Hilary during the State of the Union he'd still have been better than his successor. But that Peace Prize was given for his skin colour, and he himself agreed it was as worthwhile as Kanye.
