@metal-brain saidMate, your own DNA is truncated at the place where the "common sense" gene starts.
What Is Truncated mRNA? Why Does it Matter?
@metal-brain saidTo be more clear - the Epoch Times and Falun Gong are Chinese who don’t like the CCP i.e the mainland Chinese government. That’s why it is not correct to call them “anti China”.
If you had ever put time into reading the Epoch Times you would know they are very anti China. Whenever they refer to China they always call China the CCP. The Epoch Times is a right wing news source that is very anti communist. Not that China is really communist.

They’re kind of like Cuban Americans who practice Santaria and hate Castro. Just because you don’t like the Cuban government doesn’t mean you should be sacrificing roosters to the gods. That sort of thing makes it hard to take a person seriously even if you agree with their dislike of Castro.

@metal-brain saidI think it was intended by the Chinese (CCP) to intimidate Americans (and others) actually.
You clearly like conspiracy theories as long as they are anti Russian or anti Chinese.
You think that weather balloon was a spy balloon, don't you? Don't you realize that is a conspiracy theory to get you riled up against China?

@metal-brain saidHon, the Epoch Times are the mouthpiece of Falung Gong. A nutcase sect, who, yes, have been treated with barbaric brutality by the Han dictatoriat, but are no less a group of extremist nutcases for all that. Of course, you know all that. You're probably a member. They're MAGAhatter science deniers, after all.

@metal-brain saidI thought they weren't communists?
Taiwan is where the losers of the civil war retreated after they lost to the communists.
(Hint: that's the one thing you're right on. Neither Mao nor Stalin was a communist, let alone a Marxist. And neither are you.)
@metal-brain saidEvery time you write that line, you lose more credibility.
What is your source of information?
No, scratch that. You have none.
Every time you write that line, you gain even more lack of credibility.

People think of all sorts of extreme conspiracy theories.
Shallow blue accused me of being Russian. Do you believe that too?
@shallow-blue saidCommunism does not exist in practice, though communist political parties do. What do you think the CCP stands for?

@metal-brain saidNo source of info. It’s my own speculation based on what little I know of Chinese Communist culture.

I believe you are what you say you are - a middle aged rural white Anglo American, middle class, hard working and not afraid to get your hands dirty slaughtering animals to prepare the meat for the winter. And you like fat chicks.

Hahahahaha
Really now.
“Most mRNAs in eukaryotes possess a 7-methylguanosine cap at the 5′ terminus and a poly(A) tail at the 3′ terminus, which are crucial for translation and RNA stability. The loss of the 5′ cap or the 3′ poly(A) tail abolishes mRNA translation and promotes mRNA degradation (Gallie, 1991). Uncapped 5′ ends of mRNAs are degraded by 5′-3′ exoribonucleases (XRNs), whereas deadenylated mRNAs are degraded by the exosome from the 3′ end (Lebreton and Séraphin, 2008; Houseley and Tollervey, 2009). Alternatively, deadenylat….”
Yeah…
I wonder what any of that means too.
It means mRNA has two distinct ends with particular molecular arrangements that are the same for almost all mRNA. These end pieces are necessary for the RNA to function. If those end cap pieces are removed somehow the cell will devour and digest the mRNA. The specific enzymes that eat each of the two uncapped ends are different but they’re both part of the cell’s internal biology.
@athousandyoung saidYou got everything right except hard working.
