Let me put this way:
a) Does anyone here thinks that PKK has the right to attack Turkey by using guns and not diplomacy. (PKK stands for Kurdish Workers Party)?
b) Does anyone here thinks that Kurdish people has the right to have an independent State?
c) Does anyone here thinks that Kurdish people has the right to have an autonomous state?

Kenan

Let's not have racism here. 😛 This is not Turkish-Kurdish issue anyway guys.
Turkish and Kurdish people are brothers. This is an issue between the terrorist group and Turkey. That's all.
Don't you believe that the great majority of Kurds in Turkey want a separate, independent Kurdistan? If not, you are surely deluded.

They are equal as Turkish people and they are the citizen of Turkish Republic. They have the same right as any other citizen. They can vote, they can speak Kurdish, teach Kurdish, they can create a political party, they can send delegates to parliment, heck they can be the president of Turkey.
What would seperation bring? Besides instability in the region.
being independent is one thing, being able to exist independently is another story. what would be more beneficial to the kurds (or for the kosovars for example) ? getting support from the nation as a province or having a seat in the UN council because they are independent and have their own parliament?

Can we have fifty seats if we dissolve the Union? Should EU countries lose their seats because of their Union?

You have to realize a majority if not all of these countries where made up by former Colonial powers that distrubited borders without concern to ethnic or cultural ties. Thats why in the aftermath of colonialism, that part of the world is still F'ed up. They are just trying to get a sense or identity.
I find the idea of Kurdistan as abhorrent as any other racially-themed nation, such as Israel, United Arab Emirates, Nazi Germany, the Confederate States of America, the African nations that took property from white people, etc.
