Almost halfway through 2020 and it’s looking like this was the year that was. CODIV19, with as yet unknown medical, economic and social impacts. George Floyd and a turning point (?) in “race” relations. Continuing refugee migration. These three major events overlapping, and then some. Symbolically, the year the statues went way. Will the images of autocrats take their place? Or are we done with heroism?
