Putting aside whether this is even true or not (probably isn't) what is the point of posting this?

Is it because you think Ukraine deserved to be invaded? Is it because you want to justify Putin?

What are you trying to accomplish by posting this?

I want to establish Ukraine is not a democracy so people like you stop claiming it is.
I already said many times before that I do not condone invasions of choice, but I do understand Russia had to draw the line somewhere. What Russia is doing is far less egregious than what Bush did in Iraq. Iraq was not on our front porch. Ukraine is in regards to Russia. Russia doesn't want nukes on their front porch. Totally understandable.

I've never claimed it was or wasn't. So WTF are you talking about?

What Russia is doing is far less egregious than what Bush did in Iraq.

That's a pretty low bar, isn't it? Your defense of Russia involves comparing it to one of the most hated acts by the US in modern history.

It’s typical American-think.
Good vs evil.

The truth is usually: they’re all just a load of greedy bastards.

Yet Bush has not been convicted of war crimes. Apparently Bush is not hated enough. He is above the law just like all of our war criminals.

Obama overthrew Ukraine by a coup and installed a dictatorship. So much for the claim we are spreading democracy, but I already knew that because they did the same thing to Iran (Operation Ajax) in 1953. This is for you and the rest of the "we don't do that anymore" crowd.

Will your precious corporate news media report this? Nope, propaganda by omission.

Zelensky was voted into office in a landslide.
Navalny an opposition leader in Russia has just been sentenced to another 9 years hard Labour.

Stop lying it’s democracy that’s Putin does not want in his porch.
Russia is the new China they will never shake fascist regime in the Kremlin as Putin locks Russia down from all outside sources of facts and force feeds the Russian people with state produced propaganda.
Do you think you saying Ukraine is not a democracy actually changes the fact that it definitely without a shadow of a doubt is a democracy.

No but unless you are blind and deaf you’ll see quite easily that it is Authoritarianism versus Democracy and there is a pattern forming with the Big Lie supporter MB.
His purpose in this thread is to put forward the idea that there is no appreciable difference between the democratically elected government of Ukraine and the dictatorial regime of Putin.
Nothing to do with NATO, nothing to do with Nuclear weapons, everything to do with making Ukraine unviable economically and politically.
MB is pushing Moscow's disinformation talking points because that’s what he’s always done.

There's a good article in Al Jazeera discussing this development: in https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2022/3/21/why-did-ukraine-suspend-11-pro-russia-parties

in a state of fukin war, zelensky did a bad call.

that doesn't mean Ukraine is a dictatorship or that Putin's invasion was justified (just like US invading Iraq or Afghanistan was also unjusfied)

"Russia doesn't want nukes on their front porch"
Ukraine gave up nukes in exchange for Russia respecting its borders. The US doesn't put its nukes on NATO land nor would it need to. Another issue you're moronic about.

Yep.

" Human Rights Watch stated that, "The United States' failure to give such a warning before proceeding with the disastrous attack on the Ameriyya shelter was a serious violation of the laws of war".
