A vote has been passed in Northern Ireland that means that
The British Union Jack Flag will no longer fly on the top of Belfast City hall
for 365 days of the year, as it has done previously for a long time.
Riots broke out by British Loyalist supporters angry at the decision.
Windows were smashed in Belfast City hall and people were injured in the ensuing trouble.
Police had to use dogs to try and restore order.
Is this the beginning of the end for British Rule in Ireland?
What if the Scots vote yes in 2014 for an independent Scotland?
Interesting times ahead and next year has a number 13 in it
