for a house in Venice beach that is less than 1000 square feet
for gods sake! I know that one for a fact, my wife's parents just sold
it. What stupidity, even if it benefitted us. They paid 8,000 bucks
for it in 1948! Thats over 60 times the price in about 50 years or
about 120% per year overall increase I think. What kind of nonsense
is that? I think in 1948 you could buy a car for around 1500 bucks and
now a new car is say, 20,000. So using those numbers, you get
a 13 times increase in about 50 years so 1300 percent /50= 20%
per year average increase I think, not sure if my math is right,
correct me if I am wrong but that house went up over 60 times in
cost compared to a 13 times cost increase for cars in the same
time frame. Whats wrong with this picture?
