The Dow Jones industrial average is rich people gambling on stocks and commodities etc.
It is not a representation of the economy or how regular people are doing.
An example is the gold and silver markets. They have more paper contracts than actual metal. Which tells you it's just gambling and speculation and essentially fake.
They could make a run on pork and drive up the price to 1000 an ounce if they wanted.
The other stuff may or may not be true, I don't know.
