@Suzianne saidThe great quibble queen speaks again.
Are YOU stupid?
Cruise missiles are not ballistic missiles.
Los Angeles class attack subs can launch tomahawks and harpoons but not multiple warhead ballistic nuclear missiles. That's what the big boomers are for.
Converted SSGNs (guided missile submarines) are converted from Ohio class nuke subs. Right now we have at least four of these: the Ohio, the Florida, th ...[text shortened]... n and the Georgia. They can carry up to 154 Tomahawks. These subs are homed in the SUBPAC command.
I SAID they have had cruise missiles on them since the 70's. After 50 years ATY acted like it was news to him.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidThis shows you said ballistic missiles.
Are you being facetious, or just stupid?
Ballistic missile submarines have been around for almost 70 years.

@Rajk999 saidThey've been "amassing enough weapons grade uranium" since Trump released them from the no-nukes deal Obama brokered with them. It was a stupid move.
The US and Israel are just getting prepared, due to threats from Iran, Hezbollah and Houthi rebels in Yemen. It is rumoured that Iran has been slowly, since Hamas Oct attack, amassing enough weapons grade uranium to make small nukes, and this is why their threats are being taken more seriously.

@Suzianne saidThen you should have kept reading. ATY acted shocked that submarines could launch missiles against land targets, i pointed out that they've been able to do it for 70 years.
This shows you said ballistic missiles.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidAnd you're such a gentleman.

Quibble quibble quibble you are such a crunt.
It took you two posts to get your point across.
I posted after the first one, before I saw that you walked it back.
Truth is, subs have been outfitted with cruise missiles since 1983. Mostly attack subs (SSNs). The SSGNs came later.
