Not sure if this is fake news but .. if it is real... good. Its about time to finish these Islamic cockroaches.

U.S. military strikes Islamic State operatives in Somalia for the first time in Trump’s new term. [ World Feb 1, 2025 2:07 PM EST]

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. military has conducted airstrikes against Islamic State operatives in Somalia, the first attacks in the African nation during President Donald Trump’s second term. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Saturday that the strikes by U.S. Africa Command were directed by Trump and coordinated with Somalia’s government.

An initial assessment by the Pentagon indicated that “multiple” operatives were killed. The Pentagon said it assessed that no civilians were harmed in the strikes.

Trump, in a post on social media, said a senior IS planner and recruits were targeted in the operation. “The strikes destroyed the caves they live in, and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians. Our Military has targeted this ISIS Attack Planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did!”

Trump said. “The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is that “WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!”

Trump did not identify the IS planner or say whether that person was killed in the strike. White House officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment

The title and almost every sentence includes Trump. I read the DOD briefing on this, which also invoked trump multiple times (not normal) but never said who was targeted. Is this propaganda?

It was the same with the airline crash. Every official profusely thankful for Trump's "strong leadership" etc. it's super weird.

""We will measure our success by the wars we end. I will be remembered as a bringer of peace," announced U.S. President Donald Trump during his inaugural speech."

OOPS! Just more of the never ending, unwinnable "War on Terror".

War on terror better be winnable or we are in trouble.

23 years since 9/11.

Has the US "prevailed" yet as GW promised?

Its a good skill to be able to wade through the trash and see the good stuff. It appears that you see every event as Trump v Biden. To be honest I did not notice what you noticed, although you might be correct. All I saw was an attack on Islamic terrorist ... great.

Of course they have. Was there ever another attack like 9/11 since 2001? Have the countries who supported BinLaden not suffered. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims were killed in at least 3 countries.

I would say they paid dearly.

The war is winnable. Countries that previously encouraged Muslim immigrants are learning about Islam.

You are delusional. With one tongue you are crying for Gazan being slaughtered, and with the other you are boasting that they won the war and Israel failed.

Terrorists and their supporters are being killed every day.

Nobody other than trump said anything about Biden lol.

The constant invocation of dear leader is a hallmark in the installment of strongman authoritarian governments.

You can see it on their faces. His minions are going back behind the curtain cursing under their breath that they didnt thank trump enough times.

That'd be a war on Islam, not a war on terror.

Terrors just a word. It'll always be there.

And yet it goes on and on and on.

I know it makes you happy as long as Muslims are getting killed, but this endless cycle will never end as long as the US keeps insisting on intervening in civil wars in places like Somalia. These attacks just strengthen these extremist groups in the long run.

I'm reminded of Victor Lazlo's spech in Casablanca:

" And what if you track down these men and kill them, what if you killed all of us? From every corner of Europe, hundreds, thousands would rise up to take our places. Even Nazis can't kill that fast."

the Bush administration was planning to attack Iraq first before taking action against Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.

What a coincidence. Somalia is on that hit list.

I am against any terrorist and also their supporters. If there is a muslim that says they condemn Islamic terrorism then I am not against that Muslim. So far have have not heard any muslim condemn Islamic terrorism.
