Sarah Palin during the debate: "I'm gonna talk straight to the American people."
... and that's what both candidates in essence did during the "debate".
This show is far from what is called a debate. Both candidates roll out what they have been preparing and that's it. Two talking heads adressing the American people. Even the cameras are placed in such a way the two candidates can look the public in the eyes. Silly situations arise in this way. Sarah Palin looking me in the eyes and telling me, "you", that I voted for this or against that .....
Joe Biden tried to invite the lady to enter a debate, but she refused the invitation by stating the above quote: .... "I'm gonna talk straight to the American people."
