It simple, American multinationals in late 60 when China open the doors to foreign investors because people in China ware dying of hunger,mostly US multinational moved to China.I know that for a fact, I'm 82 years old and I remember clearly.But go on line and fideout for yourself.

USA took about 150 years to become number 1 economy in the world,China took approximately 50,60 years WHY???. go on line and ask the question" HOW MANY AMERICAN MULTINATIONALS COMPANIES ARE IN CHINA IN PRESENT????. YOU GET THE ANSWERS . good luck!

China will never be #1 because all their figures are false.
Thousands of cities that are empty and made of "tofu" construction so they are falling apart.
Thousands of electric cars sitting in fields and rotting, exploding randomly.
I could go on, but the usual crowd here will claim it's all fake claims, etc.

China relies on the USA protecting their naval traffic. In addition they have the problem of a supreme leader with the associated weaknesses of transfer of power when he dies, fear of telling the leader bad news etc. Further their demographics are terrible, their currency is not trusted by anyone and they are experiencing rapid desertification. China is in trouble. It is not going to become any more powerful than it is now.
