But at eight weeks, we can safely assume that the invading parasitic growth can't feel pain. So there's that.

A parasite has to be of a different species than the host. How in the heck did pain get into the definition of murder?

Unless you're vegan, you should drop any pretense of caring about creatures in pain.

sasquach, I would think with the coat hanger scars still left on your head you would support a woman's right to choose.

See? A conservative makes an argument; a Liberal makes a personal attack.

However, since you went there, I'm going to use your comment to tell you what informs my views.

I was born the day before my mother's seventeenth birthday, in the summer of Roe v. Wade. My mother could have legally and safely terminated her pregnancy, and accepted the full academic scholarship to Miami. But she didn't. She chose motherhood over a very promising academic future. She chose to struggle, chose courage, guts, life and love. And she succeeded anyway. With a GED, she became Vice President of a large manufacturing company. And she started on the shop floor there.

I kind of like being here. It's pretty neat. My wife is the best woman I've ever met. My brother is the best man I know. Life is good. I've said before that I don't think abortion should be legislated, but I very much respect the views of people who do.

Metabolic processes begin at fertilization. You cannot argue that. In other words, life begins at conception. Abortion should not be used as a means of birth control. Now, I could say something snarky, cynical, and crass, like "As long as Liberals are the ones having abortions it's fine". But the fact of the matter is, I don't feel that way and it would be a terrible misrepresentation.

Abortion is horrific. If you want to make the argument that up to the point where a baby could survive outside the womb - I can't even finish that statement. Health of the mother, rape - of course. But you people take life far too casually.

Do you see any difference in killing a newborn the day after it's born and killing a baby the day before it's born? The former would make headlines all over the world for its horror, would it not? The latter gets no attention. Remarkable.

You and the rest of the fascist piglets on this site attack real Women (as apposed to a tailor made cyber mannequin modeled for any given point scoring exercise) every time you spew out a post on this subject.

"She chose to struggle, chose courage, guts, life and love."

I can only assume you favour your Father.

Of course you can have an opinion, you clearly have many opinions, most of which center on detrimental comments concerning posters and groups whose opinions differ from yours.

Do I detect cracks appearing in your 'Cool Hand Luke' persona, never mind, I am sure you have many more in reserve. 😉

I knew someone would take the bait.

EDIT: You know you don't think that way. You know you're not as careless as that. Come on. You're better.

2nd EDIT: People may argue, but surely, we shouldn't question one's right to exist, should we? We are more civilized today, aren't we?

I wish we could talk about ideas and issues. You're better than that; try harder.

Why is the left only concerned with the right to choose when it comes to snuffing out the life of the unborn? Otherwise it seems one size fits all.
