''IF EXPELLING ambassadors ever became an Olympic sport, Venezuela’s president, Hugo Chávez, would have few rivals for gold. In almost a decade in power, the garrulous leftist has provoked serious diplomatic breaches with Mexico, Peru, Chile and, repeatedly, neighbouring Colombia. Several other governments have felt the lash of his unbridled tongue.''

Isn't it sad how the Left gives a free pass to Marxist like Chavez, Castro, Guevara, etc., to destroy lives, steal property and kill as many people as they see fit? I suspect these Starbucks Socialists are all about revolution, but not in their own backyard.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. The same logic leads people to believe that organizations like the PLO and Hezzbolah aren't really terrorist organizations and that people like Arafat should receive the Nobel Prize.

Edit:

And to be fair, it also leads to conservatives in the US supporting Saddam in his fight against Iran. It also led conservatives in the US to support Bin Laden and the Taliban when they were fighting the Russians.
