The games explorer only lists games with at least six moves I think.


There was a guy who had some alter egos which he all mated using fools mate.

A lot have been taken by Scholar's mate in three.

Short games that end in checkmate are possible in two. This one ended in 5, but the pattern is familiar as Fool's Mate:

There may well be shorter ones than that in the archive.
