It's currently live (live streamed by YouTube)
EDIT: Some initial thoughts:
Vance is much smoother with his delivery than Waltz. He's giving a lot of non-answers but sounds good while doing it.
Waltz is bringing a lot of facts that can actually be looked up or Googled, while Vance is stating a lot of opinions not backed by anything.
EDIT: They had to cut the mics because Vance wouldn't shut the hell up, spoke out of turn and spoke over the moderators. That's gonna be one of the major soundbites tomorrow.
EDIT: Vance's composure is killer. He's real smooth, calm and together. Walz, by comparison, is too easily rattled.
EDIT: Waltz's answer to not actually being in Tiananmen Square may have lost this debate for him. He looked bad here. He's also not as smooth a speaker as Vance, not by a mile.
EDIT: Vance is using the "I grew up in a working class family" line a bit too much
EDIT: I'm calling this now: Vance won. Easily. He comes across as the much cooler young guy while Walz is stammering too much. Substance doesn't win debates, performance does. Vance, hands down.
EIDT: Vance: "I asked you a question and you respond with a slogan"
Damn. That's probably the line of the line
The first question: Do you support a pre-emptive strike on Iran by Israel.
Vance said Trump brought stability, which is Iran didn't attack.
Waltz countered by pointing Trump, who pulled the Iran nuclear deal, is responsible for Iran starting to develop nukes and being an even bigger threat to Israel.
Damn. One question in and Waltz is already stomping him.
@vivify saidHe needs to maintain his composure on this especially. Not let Vance goad him.
Walz just gave a non-answer on claiming to have been Tiananmen Square when he wasn't. He's gonna get nailed on that.
EDIT: He's dying here. This question is Walt's biggest slip.
So far, Vance is far ahead in debate performance.
@vivify
About this VP debate: Norah O'Donnell is a lying POS. She needs to be fact checked herself. This real time fact checking has to stop. Margaret Brennan also did real time fact checking. Moderators have no right to interject into the debates. It is insulting to our intelligence. As if the candidates cannot defend themselves and desperately need help from the clearly biased moderators.
We are clearly being conditioned to accept this BS as normal. Do you really need Norah O'Donnell and Margaret Brennan to tell you what the facts are? How much do you want to bet the corporate news media will not fact check Norah O'Donnell for her lie about consensus of global warming?
Norah O'Donnell is a lying POS!
@Metal-Brain saidOh, here we go. Stupid speaks.

Morons attack the moderators instead of the talking points.
Calling out lies is critical.
@Suzianne saidWaltz is fumbling this. Vance referenced a bill Waltz signed into that he claimed was harmful to woman and Waltz couldn't what the law actually says, even after Vance asked for him to clarify.
Oooh, reproductive rights. Time to hit Vance hard.
Vance: "I asked you a question and you respond with a slogan"
Damn. That's probably the line of the line
@vivify saidBut he continually leaned on Vance's lie about "botched late-term abortions". This almost NEVER happens. Start trusting women to make their own decisions.
