No, they are not notorious for it, the media makes them appear so, but the vast majority of American police shootings are justified.
Here's a black cop that obviously got excited and killed an unarmed woman on the other side of a locked door.
If the races were reversed all of you would be calling for the cop's head.

No we wouldn’t have ‘saluted’ anyone, but dood would have definitely said she was responsible for her own death for trying to violently enter a space occupied by armed cops who were guarding civilians from an armed and violent mob.
