You say you don't like the idea of 51% getting their way over 49%? Somehow I have heard that is a democracy in action, the most votes win. But you don't like that very much because repubs LOSE when there are fair elections and THAT you can't stand.
You want them to win even if they get 30% not even to mention 51.

Yes, if a mob of people gains the upper hand over a small mob of people, that is definitely Democracy in Action.
Now do you see how hard it is to define democracy? It is a pretty word but brings hell with it. Why do you think that many Senate votes require a 2/3 majority? Just a question. You will find it impossible to answer, but no problem.

we have midterm elections coming up and the democrats seem to be a bit nervous.
They say things like "loss of democracy" if the Republicans take over the congress.

If Ron really cared about ridding his state of undocumented immigrants, he could start by enforcing laws at the farms in his own state.
