Has anybody experienced this in the US? In my county (NYS) we have electronic voting machines; you do not have to prove your identity with anything more than a signature before you vote. The voting personnel then compare your signature with the one you signed with the last time you voted. Also, I noticed that the voting personnel mark the ballot that you will be using with a number, the same number is also place next to your name on another sheet. It seems as if your ballot can be cross referenced with your name. Ultimately, somebody can see how you voted, does this seem strange to anyone?
