@Metal-Brain We have been doing that for a long time now with little or no defense justification.

@joe-beyser saidI know, but people need reminding that it is still BS.

@metal-brain saidNothing wrong with reminding people of this, but in a world where people don't know what bathroom they are supposed to use and are of the opinion you are a no good son of a biscuit if you aren't wearing masks, do you think it will help?
I know, but people need reminding that it is still BS.
@metal-brain saidThis happens because Congress weakens itself. They don't want to vote on anything for fear of attacks on their voting record so they delegate all decision making to executive departments.

SCOTUS is trying to fix it by saying these other agencies can't be delegated that authority, but unfortunately all the conservative justices are too dumb to make logical arguments.
So it goes.

@wildgrass saidThey seem pretty clear that law making powers can not be delegated to the ATF. Should be just as easy in this situation if the only problem is the Supreme Court. Go back and listen to some quotes of JFK and Eisenhower and you will get it.

@joe-beyser saidWow the word vomit game. You got bathroom, biscuit and mask in the same sentence.

In that same world, people yelling death threats at congressmen through barricaded doors are considered tourists.....

@joe-beyser saidNo! The problem is Congress. Since Iraq, they know actions are needed but cannot add the stain to their voting record. Congress has authority but they delegate to executive because they are cowards.

@wildgrass saidI agree with you. The social engineering by the left and right are enough to make one want to vomit biscuits in the bathroom. I did it again didn't I? On your second point I also agree with you. How was this allowed to happen? The key word here is allowed. We are living in a different world now where staged events easily get by those dwelling on face masks, sex change surgeries, vax/anti vax issues, religion, and a plethora of things to take the minds off who is in power.
Wow the word vomit game. You got bathroom, biscuit and mask in the same sentence.

@wildgrass saidThe problem really isn't Congress. There is very little justification for the conflicts we have been involved in. Not any justification that can be put out publicly anyway, so how do you expect them to declare a war? The military industrial complex has things just as they want and does not need congress. Trading human lives for money is the game here and they take equipment orders from all sides.

@joe-beyser saidOh, good grief, another one.

@joe-beyser saidCongress can absolutely oppose war. They choose not to.

@suzianne saidVery well said suzianne. Your economy of words is genius expressing sarcasm as if you yourself fit the mold of todays mindless society. Since I know you are a thoughtful person I can just express my appreciation of your comment and to some degree your humor. What are you doing Saturday night?
Oh, good grief, another one.

@wildgrass saidSo you say congress fails to take action because of possible political consequences. I say the same thing. The difference is I think the system itself will retaliate if they stop a conflict where you believe their constituents will be the retaliating agent. The system is set up now to get a good old war off the ground without congress which takes the burden off the shoulders of congress with little fear of popular dissent affecting their careers. Once it gets going and there has been enough propaganda and false flag events, their hands are tied. If they buck the system and put an end to a conflict they know their butts will be indicted for all kinds of crimes real and made up. This is the system
Congress can absolutely oppose war. They choose not to.

@wildgrass saidThe capitol police let those people in that made death threats you harping about.
Wow the word vomit game. You got bathroom, biscuit and mask in the same sentence.

Should those CP officers be arrested and charged with seditious conspiracy?
Yes or no?
