If you and a guest are invited to a wedding, what's the standard amount of money you give to them? 50 bux, 100 bux, 200 bux, more?

Enough to pay for your plate is the standard measure.

depends on your bank account and how cheap you are.

Depends if you are invited to the whole do, or just the evening thing.
Whole thing: £25, more if family.
Evening: £10.

Traditionally $50 is standard, however, you can provide a nicely written card and small gift of sentimental value. Saying thank you for inviting me goes a long way. In an ideal world everyone would have limitless amounts of money to spend one those we care about. If you do not or are on a tight budget realize a good friend would rather have you at their wedding celebrating the big day than a bigger gift. ;-)

In an ideal world, people wouldn't care so much about how much money you have spent on a gift.
