I consider myself to be a Conservative (with a capital or lowercase "c" ). Here are some things that being a Conservative should not entail:
1) Being racist.
2) Being unfair or ungenerous.
3) Being anti-science.
4) Complaining ironically about your freedoms being taken away, and then sticking your nose where it shouldn't be (like into other people's personal lives).
On the other hand, here are ten reasons why I am a Conservative:
1. Understanding that capitalism, when done right, is an unbelievably powerful tool of upliftment and progress.
2. Knowing that Marxism, socialism, etc are incredibly destructive, anti-intellectual ideologies that cause entirely unnecessary misery, suffering and death wherever they are implemented, and which are not even better at achieving their own narrow goals.
3. Being opposed to grievance, entitlement, handouts and the culture of victimhood.
4. Being disgusted by the backslapping and bullying among the left, and desiring to fight back against the toxic woke-o-cracy in favour of decency and common sense.
5. Being mind-boggled by the stupidity of dismissing your voter base's complex and valid concerns (which often have a true cause in economics) as "racism" or "xenophobia", condescending them and then wondering why they no longer vote for you.
6. Not demonizing the financially successful or imputing absurdly evil motives onto them.
7. Recognizing that people like Bill Gates did not steal from anyone. Realizing that people who think so are rarely more generous and compassionate - rather, they are bitter and resentful and simply seek to tear down others.
8. Realizing that while there is scarcity, there are no solutions, only trade-offs and that utopian projects almost never work in reality.
9. Disliking that some on the left will make assumptions about the lives or experiences of people who do not have a first-world-problems-derived chip on their shoulder, and choosing instead to support the real little people in this world.
10. Holding a firm belief that if you work hard enough and go through your life with honesty and true fairness, that nothing is out of your reach.

Are you aware it's conservatism that fights against gay rights while liberals fight against that oppression? I'm 100% sure you are.
I understand that what you're addressing is the philosophy of conservative and not the culture of conservatives, which includes xenophobia, bigotry, etc. But at that same time you attack the culture of liberalism; so is it fair that you separate the nastier aspects of conservative culture yet attack liberal culture?
As far as the "bullying" of the left, there's no way you can argue this isn't an epidemic with conservatives. From xenophobic Brexit supporters to the toxic conservatives in America to right-wingers in Poland who are anti-gay, to religious Muslim conservatives making life harder for women....the bullying form conservatives is far more pressing, wouldn't you agree?
@vivify saidYou have an America-centric view of what it means to be a conservative.

American political culture and the "culture war" that it entails is the exception, not the rule. And liberalism and leftism aren't the same - in fact, being a "Liberal" is considered to be moderately conservative in Western Europe. The Democratic Party is considered a conservative party.
It goes without saying that PiS (the ruling party in Poland) is not representative of my positions.

This, corrected, is why I am a "liberal".
@ashiitaka saidYou're right. In the U.S., liberalism and leftism are intertwined just like being conservative and leaning right. But that's why I also mentioned the UK conservatives, Polish conservatives and conservatives from Muslim nations.
You have an America-centric view of what it means to be a conservative.
Still, as I mentioned before, you can't separate conservative philosophy from conservative culture worldwide. As such, you can't ignore the bullying which is clearly more of an issue than liberal bullying. Liberal bullying is merely annoying, like stereotypical SJWs; conservative bullying actually affect laws and national policies, like what lead to Brexit, the situation in Poland and the problems women face in Muslim-majority nations.
@chesstachio saidYou think calling someone a muslim is insulting?
Shav = 🧕🏻
Are you too stupid to realise that’s the sort if sentiment (discrimination / racism) you get banned for?
Probably. That’s why you scream like a hallal pig everytime things don’t go your way.
No. Don’t point it out to him. Let him figure it out for himself.

@ashiitaka saidThe Cromwell Puritan types and Spanish Catholics are social conservatives. I don't think this phenomenon is only an American thing.

The post that was quoted here has been removedBecause they signed up to the European treaty on human rights. They’re part of the EU.
If they want to be part of greatness they have to drop their retarded way of thinking.
Up to me? I’d sell them to Russia. Price? One bottle of vodka and a couple of potato plucking whores.
@ashiitaka saidBill Gates stole Apple’s user interface by reverse engineering it to resell it as Windows. No one had ever heard of reverse engineering until Gates did it. Now every operating system and copyrighted app includes a clause in the fine print prohibiting reverse engineering. Just sayin’.

@dood111 saidIt is what the moderators want, so accept it and stop posting here. It is what I have done.
I notice all the far left Soros libtard radicals here get to say whatever they want.
Why do all the conservatives get banned?
I just got off a monthh long ban because this site LOVES the anti-western anti-white anti- christian radical left.
