WH Won't Release Photos of Obama Team During Benghazi Attack

by Ben Shapiro 21 Nov 2012325

Today, the White House officially refused to release photos of US officials during the September 11 terrorist attacks on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that ended with the deaths of four Americans. CBS News requested the photos on October 31; the White House has routinely released photos showing members of the Obama administration in their hero poses during national security crises. That happened most famously with pictures of the Obama administration key players clustered into the White House situation room during the raid on Osama Bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan.

The White House told CBS to ask the White House Photo Office; that office then delayed for nearly three weeks. Finally, the Office said they wouldn’t release any photos without the permission of the White House Press Office, which has been utterly unresponsive to this point. CBS News has also not been told any details about the Obama administration’s actions during the Benghazi events.

So much for Obama’s pledged transparency, despite Obama’s words at his bloviating press conference of November 14, 2012:

We have provided every bit of information that we have, and we will continue to provide information …. we will provide all the information that is available about what happened on that day.

    Right.

I came bag just for you, baby. I'm here to help. Your real-world education is just beginning.

EDIT: I'm interested in the over/under on the number of months it takes you guys to say a) "Can you believe these mean heartless rich people" (never mind, you're already saying that); b) "We won. They're supposed to give us our way, why aren't we getting our way?" and c) "If we had thought this through, we wouldn't have done this to ourselves by reelecting Obama".

My guess on b) is the spring jobs report, and c) about a year later in 2014 when it's finally been drilled into your head that business does not like or trust Obama and they will not commit funds to growth when their environment is so uncertain.

Think of me as your daily diarist, chronicling each minute step (and some very large ones) we take to reducing ourselves to second-class nation status.

This is what I really don't understand. Europe is coming apart at the seams because of a) the profligacy of mainly Greece and b) the Leviathan welfare state they've created. These are the two root causes of their crisis. Why - tell me why - we want to enact the same policies here, when we can so clearly see what the future brings?

Can't blame Bush anymore. Not time to talk about history. Time to talk about the present.

Your whining has nothing to do with reality except the reality that your world view has been decisively rejected by the American people and it hurts your feelings. Can't you just go on Dr. Phil and be held?

No - the takers outvoted the makers. Obama assembled a coalition of single-issue voters who have either been less successful in life and voted themselves other people's money or possess a cognitive disconnect that does not allow them to see what is plainly clear: Liberal policies destroy society.

Yes, that's what the right wing bloggers are telling the simple minded like yourself. That you believe such rot just shows your deep seated psychosis.

Psychosis? Did Obama get 93% of the black vote or not? This election was about identity politics. Nothing to do with principle or awareness; if it did, Romney would have won hands down.

Psychosis means abnormal condition of the mind, and is a generic psychiatric term for a mental state often described as involving a "loss of contact with reality". People suffering from psychosis are said to be ''psychotic.''

People experiencing psychosis may report hallucinations or delusional beliefs, and may exhibit personality changes and thought disorder. Depending on its severity, this may be accompanied by unusual or bizarre behavior, as well as difficulty with social interaction and impairment in carrying out the daily life activities.

That's an accurate description of the symptoms you have exhibited on this forum for the last month.
