This should be a very simple question to resolve.

Suppose I am in some debate and have a very large number of related points to make and defend. Suppose that the number of characters I require to do this exceeds RHP's post length threshold several times over. Suppose that accordingly, I perforate my points into numerous (say, 5) segments, enter them individually, and push the Post button for each.

Have I made one post or five? If another debating opponent and I agree to make no more than one post per day, and I enter these five segments in one sitting, have I violated our agreement?

Since the format has a threshold, you must limit your response accordingly.
What is RHP?

One cannot necessarily fit all one's eggs in one basket.

Geeze I thought I think about things too much. I am currently writing an essay on why it seems most large cooking kettles seem to be round and not square like your head seems to be.

If I were asked to rule on such a trifling hypothethical matter, I would say that I don't care. If the purpose of this debate was to have an intellectual discussion above the level of the "creationism-TOE" crap that permeates these forums, I would say that the length of someone's submission should be up to them. If I were to be a judge in this hypothethical debate, however, I would consider conciseness favorably but to artificially place a limit on a certain number of characters for a debater to make his argument seems petty and silly. Hypothethically speaking, of course.

Now that that's been cleared up, can we try for world peace?

Off subject, but where did you get all those 'recs' listed below your name? Although you have a hundreds of posts, the majority of them read 0 recommendations. Every once and while, one sees "1 recommendation," or possibly two, but where did the 1428 come from, if not from your voluminous posts?

Since you've only been on the site for 18 months, you would have to be receiving about 80 recs a month to gather that many of them. Did I miss something?

I'm loved and adored, though I couldn't care less about recs (I hardly ever give them myself unless it's something I find perfectly hilarious).

I can turn my computer on but that is about the extent of my computer knowledge.
