@MartinS saidWhat do you do if you are right-wing but think Trump and Musk are lunatics?
I don't suppose there could be a fatal golf cart crash and a major space rocket crash?
A big problem for me is, every church I have visited in my area over the last 20 years or so says that; 'if you do not vote right-wing republican, then you are not a true Christian.' So therefore, they vote for Trump their only option. And there goes their Christianity out the window; in my opinion.
Thoughts anyone?
@KingDavid403 saidSomething is wrong with the people who attend those churches. Its like the churches that insist you give them 10% of your salary. The people that obey these pastors are stupid.

@MartinS saidI would personally be wary of wishing death on any public official, in these times. The stories you hear of tracking social media content, and flagging inappropriate comments, are no longer science fiction. Its a relative easy matter for a hacker to get into RHP webserver and pull up your details and find out who you are. Be careful.

@KingDavid403 saidOk... I saw a recent video of a pastor who said to the congregation, nobody is leaving until he gets $40,000. He instructed his aides to lock the doors. Dont know what the outcome of that was but anyone who went back to such a church is very stupid.
I agree; however, I would not use the word "stupid" as you. Miss-led maybe.

@Rajk999 saidIn that case, yes, that would be a stupid move to me also. This is one reason why a personal relationship with Christ is so so important; the corporate worship and relationship with Christ comes in at a far far second; in my opinion.

@KingDavid403 saidI know a guy with an evangelical background who says the same - laments the "politicizing" of Jesus' message in many, many churches. 😆

@Cliff-Mashburn saidI usually visit churches more than once. And, it's every church that I have visited in the current state that I live in.
My thoughts are that you are making that up.

Ask me if I care what you think liar?
@spruce112358 saidI've heard this message from at least 5 different churches in the current state that I live in. This state and area are full of worthless liar trumptards; and, they always have been control freak liars. They are not there to worship God; they are there to get people to follow their political party; lying far-right freaks whom even change scriptures of the Bible to fit their political ideology.

I still don't believe you.
Catholic and the various Protestant offshoots don't bring politics into their services. They certainly don't tell you who to vote for.
