Whether you have cable, terrestrial, Joost or whatever, what do you like to watch on the 'box?
As a sad and lonely creature with nothing better to do than frequent these forums (😉), I'm interested in what people like to watch, and, as in other subjects... why.
For example, I personally find Lost / 24 tedious (I gave up halfway through Series' 3), but if you are still enthused by it, that's great, I'm not going to be critical of you, or Lost, or 24, (and I do not call for others to be), only perhaps a little jealous that you still get something out of it. 🙂
Besides, one of my current favourites ("favorites" for my friends across The Pond) is a cartoon called "Storm Hawks"....yes, that's right, a kids program...I kinda like "Ben 10" too!
Yet amongst my favourites, I would also number serious HBO productions, such as Deadwood, and Band Of Brothers.
Similarly, new Battestar Galactica and Bionic Woman from SciFi(?).
And all-time favourites would be such as The Waltons, and Star Trek (TNG and Voyager).
I asked "why" too...as you might have gleaned from some of my posts, I'm something of a moralist...not in a fundamental way, but I do like to think that if other people would agree to "do as they would be done by", the world would not be quite such a bad place.
And so, my choices are littered with "high moral fibre" programs...The Waltons probably representing the pinnacle in that respect.
Anyway, I can see people feverishly scratching away at lists, so I'll shutup (hurrah!!) and let you guys & gals dig in.

Sopranos, various adult cartoons (no, not animated porn...I mean like Family Guy and Sealab 2021). History and Military channels.
You seen Storm Hawks ATY?

You can see clips from Sealab 2021 on youtube. Let's see if I can find a good one.
Ah, here we go.
Stargate Atlantis, Monk, Psych, Supernatural, Numb3rs, and Jericho are about the only 1sr-run shows I watch regularly. I like the Science and History Channel stuff, and that new one--American Life Network? It has old shows I've never seen (Burke's Law) or haven't seen in forever (Mission Impossible, Lost in Space).

House (I can relate to the Hugh Laurie character, Dr. Gregory House. He's smart, sarcastic as heck and is kinda sad when he looks at the world around him)
NCIS
Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader (Jeff Foxworthy is great, and the kids are cute)
and most the stuff on the SCIFi channel or the Military Channel
