It's easy to get too involved in all of this, I have to reign myself in sometimes....It should be a forum for discussion, which can all too easily turn into something else. Much is happening in the world right now, much of it isn't good, and it can provoke extreme reaction.

Being of the 'Peace and love' frame of mind, (I don't think I've ever grown out of the '70s) it's anathema to me that one country should invade another, be that Russia, America or whoever. We live in dangerous times, and I hate that people are suffering and dying, wheresoever and whosoever they may be. It could be me or you, after all, just ordinary people going about their lives, and life is hard and often tragic enough without our leaders making it harder.

There's a particular Pink Floyd song, I think it's called 'Two suns in the Sunset', which sums it up pretty well for me, have a listen if you get the chance.

That site estimates that the underground enrichment site at Fordow has been only "partially damaged" (30% damage) and that Iran could achieve "post strike breakout" i.e. actually build a nuclear weapon in 12 weeks.

To make matters worse, after the attacks were started, Iran ended all IAEA access including disabling their surveillance cameras and removing seals from declared nuclear facilities. The IAEA was able to verify on February 25, 2026 that Iran was not actively enriching uranium but cannot do so now.
