There was also little hope for the Democrats to push through a reactionary agenda like ACA, but it happened, and most Americans today hate it.
The health care act is the fuel to win more elections for the GOP....for a time. Then rinse, wash, repeat as the DNC comes back to power after the American people realize they are not intereted in change.
