What should the price of health care be? Is there a cost to great?

What exactly are we willing to give up?

Would you?

1. Sacrifice your personal freedom? If so, to what extent?

2. Sacrifice your revenue? If so, to what extent?

3. Take from others that have more than you? If so, to what extent?

4. Watch your country fall apart economically? Is health care more important than the economic health of the country?

Does the right to health care trump all other rights and personal liberty?

If so, then every dictator on earth needs some sort of state mandated health care.

The health care reform act did nothing to reform healthcare. My girlfriends son has a baby that was born way premature. The cost was over 1.2 million dollars. He had insurance but this points out the flaws in healthcare. Instead of cutting the costs we must all pay into a corrupt system. How many times have you heard of someone using medical insurance for something and their deductible was what the total cost should have been? I guess if we are willing to throw freedom away for false security why not bogus healthcare too.

Also, no reference to socialism, progressives and/or nazis. Whodey is getting sloppy.

I do (thorough my voting) a little of #1, 2, and 3, and vote against doing so much that I think it will bring about #4. Some amount of #1, 2, and 3 are the costs of living in society instead of in the wild.

At the risk of prompting the ire of progressives like Godwin, I failed to mention that Germany had the first mandatory health care in the world and that Hitler was the most progressive leader of his day as he taxed to death the top 4% and stole from others to create the greatest nanny state of his day, while he lowered taxes and drove up insane debt.

I even left out the fact that the Nazi's were also obsessed with the environment and animal rights.

So give me some credit, will ya? 😠

You would do "a little" of 1,2, and 3? What exactly? What is a little? How far is too far?

Hitler hated socialists more than any other, that's for sure.

I don't know exactly. Do you? For example, if you have any form of health care insurance, part of your premium pays for emergency room care of indigent people and other insurance lackers. Part of your tax payments do this, too. And you don't know how much. If you don't have coverage, and keep it that way, someday you will be be in the ER taking from those who do have coverage, big time, unless you are rich (i.e., self-insured).

At least with the ACA you can refuse to buy insurance and then you know the annual cost of the penalty tax. But you'll still be in that ER someday, taking big time, from those who do have coverage.

PS I am generalizing. You are free to let yourself die when an ER situation occurs.

He was also a big eugenics man too. Of course he gave credit to the US for that.

Had it not been for the NAZI movement. eugenics would still be big today.

I wonder if it will come back like it did.
