@averagejoe1 saidWhy?
No ad hominem, no Trump, no dem, no Repub, no SHouse, everybody happy, what word is the most irrelevant word we use?
I think it is the word "Why". How bout you fellers?
If you do something, whatever , it is done, the little woman says 'why did you do that', it is a bit irrelevant, the why of it. It is done. We move forward from that moment. 'Why became irrelevant the moment the issue came into existence. The comment of the little woman might rather be 'what next'. It makes no difference as to how we got to this point, ....here we are.
If you answer,,, 'because it needed doing to keep it dry', it still is an object that is about to get wet and we need to deal with the fact that it might get wet. Whatever I did to put it in a dry situation, or why I did it, is quite irrelevant. We need to keep it dry in the future.
@averagejoe1 saidSorry, but I don't recall.

@averagejoe1 said“Why” is a very important question. It’s the basis of trying to figure something out. I certainly wouldn’t call it irrelevant.

I reckon the word “actually” as it’s commonly used is irrelevant.
It doesn’t actually add anything worthwhile to a sentence.
@shavixmir saidGood one. ‘Right’ is a killer as well. It entered the scene, it seems, in this generation. I myself don’t even say it.
