Lets get to the bones of it; we can all see the world around us: it is controlled by institutional structures larger than us, which we do not feel empowered to change in most cases for most people. Some kind of Cultural/ Social/ Mob mentality causes us as individuals to seek to propagate these structures by means of our productive lives - be they Governments, Banks, Corporations, Organised Religion, or Family and Community Interests et cetera. Could evil be systemic in the way we organise structured institutional interests... and can we start to reject the Original sin/ Reason why communism doesn't work is because we are all ultimately selfish and corrupt line? All thoughts welcome on this subject...

The idea that we can blame our missdeads on some devil creature is merely an excuse. Many people blame Hitler for every evil that came out of the second world war and Bin Laden for 9/11, Bush for the iraq war, Mugabe for Zimbabwes troubles and yet in every case the individual who gets blamed was most definately not acting alone and often is not as evil as some of thier juniors.
Lets get to the bones of it;
Many large scale injustices are partly caused (ie are retaliations for) by injustices in the other direction.
There are different types of evil too, aggression is often considered the worst form but standing by and doing nothing is also evil in its own way. And that every citizen of the world is guilty of from time to time and in general the wealthier you are or the more influence you have the more guilty you are of not helping someone else in need.

Evolution - but you can't stop nature so were doomed to live in an "evil" world.
However humans as a species are now subject to new forces of evolution such as cultural evolution and also due to globalization some aspects of evolution are unique to our situation and it is not possible to predict the outcome. It may depend on random chance.
