One you've changed to violence as a course of action, violence will be your only option. Very difficult to go back to diplomacy. From what I've been left to believe is that a strike in Iran amounts to a punch in the nose, but is not a permanent solution.

The process of impeachment is entirely different from a common trial for felonious acts in a regular court. Failure to convict in the impeachment process isn't acquittal.
Clinton was later convicted of perjury and contempt of court in an actual court room and judge.

Clinton was acquitted by the Senate regardless of whether you claim he wasn't. The fact that he was prosecuted at a later stage is not relevant to the fact that the impeachment process ended with his acquittal. The senators did not vote "Fail To Convict" or "Successfully Convict", they could vote "Guilty" but most of them voted "Not Guilty" so Clinton was acquitted.
Clinton lied under oath about getting head on the side. In contrast, Reagan bypass and trashed the Constitution in trading arms to Iran for money and hostages, and diverting the money to the Contras in Nicaragua in violation of the Boland Amendment.
I am not saying what Clinton did is right, but Reagan deserves to be impeached more than Clinton. By the way, Bill Clinton is the most popular politician in the country. I do miss those good old days of the two Clinton terms.
