It looked to me like he was bemused by the dancing of the other folks around him like his VP.
And of course night show comedians like Colbert imitating him for laughs and giggles.
Not to be outdone, Jimmy Kimmel did a fake spelling bee against the actual winner of this year's contest, a 12 yo kid. I wonder if that kid had been warned it was a sham in advance?
