@moonbus saidYeah. Maybe it's just my own sense of aesthetics, but public restrooms have never been on my list of places to make out with someone. Eww!
@Mott-The-Hoople
But they are trying to force men in my wife and daughters restrooms in public places,
It always comes down to toilets with you, doesn't it? Where people go potty.
For most of the last 800,000 years of human evolution, everyone pottied in the same latrine.
@Rajk999 saidI'm no astrophysicist, but if by "the world" you meant the Earth, perhaps it could be said that the Earth and the Moon (and by extension any moonbuses) orbit around each other, even though in a selectively relative sense we generally say in common parlance that the Moon revolves around the Earth.
The world does not revolve around you
It's really just quite a grand waltz all around, isn't it? (Not necessarily in 3/4 time -- that was just a convenient metaphor.)
@AThousandYoung saidElliot Roger was a typical incel:
Yes. These are straight cis men who "got no game" for whatever reason and are enraged by the idea that they'll live a sexless life. They are on the edge of being suicidally depressed but they refuse to blame themselves for how other people are disrespecting them and redirect those feeling to rage and bitterness. @Rajk999 saidI'm sure there must have been cases of male drinkers who lived on islands and who also turned out to be rapists.
There are cases of men dressed as women who have abused women in the washrooms. So allowing trans people to use womens washrooms is an opening for rapists.
Is your government aware of this?
I'm not calling you a rapist -- I'm only wondering why they don't boot you off the island just in case. Nothing personal -- it would be a purely preventative measure.
@moonbus saidIn America, it's always the testosterone-poisoned drunken "alpha" males (or at least those who thought they were) who caused the problems. In college, no one caused problems in co-ed dorms because it was always tough enough finding a place to live near campus, no one wanted to lose that.
When I went to university, I lived in co-ed dorms. We shared bathrooms. Nobody got raped in a co-ed bathroom.
If incels have a problem with that, the incels are the problem, not the bathrooms.
I was only in one for about a month before I moved into my sorority house, only partly because of my PTSD.
Trans people are the newest replacement scapegoats in this scenario.
@Rajk999 saidI hope you are not afraid of gay guys using the men's room.
Allowing men into womens washrooms and other women spaces, because the men feel like they are women, is not a good idea.
Its a simple thing...
Were you born with a dick?
Yes?
Then go to a mens washroom.
[Of course you should be (joke); however, whether gay or straight (or mixed), the noblest of the strong do try to be considerate of the weak and fearful. I hope we could at least agree about that.]
Even though I also don't quite understand the public trans phenomenon of recent years, as long as personal boundaries are respected why should anyone care?
Call the phenomenon what you will: fad, fashion, peer-pressure, a result of microplastics, or a natural phenomenon that is nothing new among humans.
Let's say that similar to music terminology (analog vs digital) or the constellation-of-traits model with different personal emphases (instead of a linear spectrum) used to distinguish "aspies" from "normies", human gender expression is obviously not as artificially binary as some might assert or would like it to be or have been taught.
@Rajk999 saidAnd if she was born with one but doesn't have one now?
Allowing men into womens washrooms and other women spaces, because the men feel like they are women, is not a good idea.

You'd make her go use the men's room?
And you call us (trans and allies) sick?
@moonbus said
There has already been a case of a rapist dressing up as an ICE agent and sexually assaulting a woman. Seems a fine legal basis to disband ICE altogether.
@AThousandYoung
I agree 100%. What's the relevance?
Same flawed logic as arguing that public restrooms must not be used by certain people because certain other people might possibly commit crimes there. False classification of culprits.
And yes, I do think ICE should be disbanded, but not because someone once impersonated an ICE agent. It should never have been called into existence, even if no one ever impersonated an ICE agent. It's domestic lawless harassment, that's why.
@AThousandYoung saidA short where women list their requirements for men’s” income:
What has changed is that ordinary men cannot afford to entertain women on dates and with presents and a home to live in but the women want these things more than ever. What ends up happening is wealthy men get all the women - multiple women per man - and regular men have to fight each other for the scraps that are left behind. This gets more and more pronounced as th ...[text shortened]... ut how difficult and expensive it is to pursue women:
