What to make of Chavis Carter's death

It's an odd case. What is your take on it?

I think we can do better than 1535 posts with this one.

Seriously though, it seems the FBI is investigating the case, so we'll see what they come up with. It seems a little odd that someone would commit suicide in such circumstances, then again there are many very odd people out there.

They may need to bring 'Norm' in on this one. I noticed they blurred out the policeman's face who did the reenactment, personal security reasons? or could he not stop laughing?

Whatever the result of either investigation, the Jonesboro Police are responsible for Chavis Carter’s death. When a person is in police custody and has been incapacitated as Chavis Carter was with his hands locked behind his back, they are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of that person.

Might be a good time to chill, and wait for completed investigations. And also to desist from jokes about the deceased.
