If Donald Trump told his followers, the sky is orange and the grass is pink, they would believe him. They're fawning worship of this dunce, fraudster, sex abuser, and compulsive liar never ceases to amaze me.

If it were not for his inheritance from daddy, he would have been tossed in the slammer a long time ago.

I don't know, he did qualify "to make landfall," and during his term the known hurricane 5 was category 4 upon initial assessment and upgraded per later analysis. So, it's not a good gotcha, if you ask me, sounds more like menstrual cramping against the guy.

If you want to make a real point with something Trump said that was stupid ask how a 100% tariff would be de-dollarization? If a country is selling to the US consumer they get paid in dollars. WTF does he expect it to be paid in Pesos?

If they don't like dollars they would not sell anything to the USA since they would only receive US dollars in exchange for it. And once they have those dollars they would have to spend them or trade those dollars to another country that needs them.

This is a better example of how Trump does not understand economics. Watch the video of him saying that. It makes no sense at all. To drop the dollar you have to stop selling to the USA. What good is a tariff if they do not sell anything to the USA? And if they do sell to the USA guess what currency it will be paid in. Only one.

The dollar has nothing to do with his tariffs, moron. I don't know where you're getting this. It's like you're trying to manufacture a good reason for the tariffs that every American is going to have to pay for. These tariffs that Trump thinks will get back at countries he doesn't like will only hurt the average American. I read something the other day that said over half of the Nobel-winning economists still alive think his tariff plan will raise costs for most Americans, most of which can't afford it. So he's playing at being a big man on our dime, and I, for one, am incensed that I have to pay for his stupidity.

Any country that sells products to the USA accepts US dollars. That is picking up the dollar. That is not dropping the dollar. Trump cannot impose tariffs on a country unless they accept the dollar.

Trump contradicted himself. He does not understand economics. When is an economist going to point out that the US consumer does not pay for imports with anything but US dollars?
