Oh... My... GOD.

I cant believe that there are other people who actually drink this stuff. It's so cheap, yet so easy to drink. Especially Orange Jubilee. Love it. Gets you going pretty quickly. Unfortunately, not many places sell it. Besides certain areas of the ghetto and shady liqour stores. Never stopped me though.

Actually the quote I used is correct, it was not from the Simpsons, it was from some stupid George Bush photo book a friend got me for christmas, and yes a similar quote was said by grounds keeper willy but I know more about the Simpsons than probably anyone on earth so yeah I wouldn't make a mistake like that.
Well, who said it first- the Simpsons with old Grounds Keeper 'Damn Scots, they ruined Scotland' Willie, or your wee pop up GBW book?

I'd guess the Simpsons on a hunch.

Please use punctuation, it took me ages to decipher your post. I think I got the gist of it now...

Don't get me wrong, I don't pretend to be a representative of my country, nor do I think what comes out of France is all good and all that my country represents is better than anything else. Believe it or not, I'm no patriot.

However, I do feel I ought to put the record straight when people write untruths AND I know they're wrong.

I also feel the need to alert any racist/offensive posts I see, as I have done before, not just posts insulting the French. Let me just make that clear 🙂

I love my country in the same way I love my family. It doesn't mean that they're the most fascinating and talented individuals in the world, but they are part of who I am.

Does that make me a patriot? Perhaps. A nationalist? Definitely not.

Like you, I do have a lot of affection for my country but there are core aspects of its culture, its society, its heritage ... that I resent a lot.
