FBI raids homes after two National Guard members shot near White House
Authorities investigate shooting of two members of the National Guard, in Washington. Trump administration halts Afghan immigration processing indefinitely. The FBI searched multiple properties in Washington state and San Diego on Thursday in what officials said was a terrorism probe into an Afghan national suspected of shooting two National Guard members, who remained in critical condition. Investigators seized numerous electronic devices from the suspect's house in Washington state, including cellphones, laptops, and iPads, and interviewed the suspect's relatives, FBI Director Kash Patel told a news conference in Washington, D.C.
U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C. Jeanine Pirro identified the two wounded Guard members as Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and Andrew Wolfe, 24. Pirro said the suspect ambushed the Guard members while they were patrolling near the White House on Wednesday afternoon. Armed with a powerful revolver, a .357 Magnum, he shot one member who fell and then shot again before firing multiple times at the second member.

Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News the U.S. government planned to bring terrorism charges against the gunman and seek a sentence of life in prison "at a minimum."
At her briefing, Pirro said the gunman faces three counts of assault with intent to kill while armed and a charge of possession of a firearm during a crime of violence.

There should be a very high price to pay for this kind of terrorism, but so far nothing. If the killer lives, he will enjoy the rest of his life living it up in a US jail, and living off US tax payers.
@Rajk999 saidAll on FOX. No need to post this.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidMurder charges does not help fix the problem. The problem is not just this one man, neither is it Afganistan which seems to be the focus. The problem is Islam, which teaches its believers to kill.
Charges now changed to murder.
@AverageJoe1 saidAre you seriously telling people what to post?
All on FOX. No need to post this.
A man like you that posts everything under the sun.
@Rajk999 saidExtremists certainly believe that.

The Muslim you are more likely to meet in the street or supermarket does not. (Obviously).
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidSure, but if there are 2 billion Muslims in the world, and even if only 10% believe that, or even if it's 5%, that's a LOT of people, and a big problem.
Extremists certainly believe that.

According to this survey, cited to show that most Muslims are peaceful, about 1 in 6 AMERICAN Muslims admit that there's significant support for extremism in their community.

Common sense indicates that this percentage would be higher in all-Muslim countries, where there is less or no taboo against violent extremism.
By the most conservative estimates, there are hundreds of millions of Muslims who want you and I either converted to Islam or dead, and their doctrine is clear about the desirability and even the necessity to act on that belief. With today's levels of information technology, easy mobility, lax immigration policies, and tiny birthrates amongst westerners, it's only a matter of time until Islam swallows much of the west, unless the doctrine itself is fought by, for example, lending real support to movements like the Twitter revolution, instead of just smiling and hoping it succeeds..
@sh76 saidWith all of this, the question is still… Do you want to mix your culture with their culture. Being that they are also different.
Sure, but if there are 2 billion Muslims in the world, and even if only 10% believe that, or even if it's 5%, that's a LOT of people, and a big problem.

I have a lot of friends to enjoy being with why would I wanna make a possible situation of grief.
As my granny says, I have all the friends I need
@sh76 saidCan I rephrase that. ALL Muslims believe that unbelievers / infidels / apostates, should be killed, ALL 2 Billion of them. It is in the Quran, and there is no Muslims who will say they do not believe it. The important question is how many can actually carry out this instruction .. even if only 1% have the guts to carry out these instructions, that is 20 million Muslims walking around who are capable of doing what this Afgan terrorist did. This is a dangerous situation that the west have found yourself, and it is happening because of these fools like Ghost of a Duke, Shavixmir and Zahalinzi and many others who are constantly making excuses for Islam and making it look like people are wrong to be wary of these murderous criminals ... why ... because not all of them are like that. Nobody cares if all are like that. Enough of them are like that to warrant being careful, and keep them out of your country.

The day will surely come when people will have had enough and war will be the result.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidDo these extremists have a sign on their forehead?
Extremists certainly believe that.

No?
Then STFU. You have no point.
@AverageJoe1 saidPersonally, I prefer to live in an inclusive society.

This is perfectly possible while still opposing extremism.
@sh76 saidCommon sense dictates that the majority of Muslims (encountered by Westerners in their various countries) are moderate and do not go about their business thinking non believers in their religion should be killed. Common sense further dictates this only applies to the small minority of extremists who have taken such sentiments out of context from the Quran for their own ends.

@sh76 saidIsn't that what the US government did here i.e. trained and paid this guy to fight Islamic extremists?
