Martin Luther King, Jr. would be proud of how far we've come, but he would also realize we have a long way to go as a species. His comments about the content of one's character versus the color of one's skin resound down through the years and are especially poignant today, simply because we all should have figured this stuff out years ago. Racism and sexism simply have no place in the global community, but you people hang on to it like a babe to his mother's teat. That you grow up and just treat people not like you as humans too is not hard, and it is all we're asking you to do, but you can't even make that small effort.
