Well even "dogs" can be targets, rapists catch what they can, beggars can't be choosers.

What do you mean by a "real dog" anyway? Someone who's drunk is very vulnerable, not having the reflexes and energy to act swiflty if they're being attacked for instance.
It depends where you live but only up to a certain extent, as nowhere is really safe. I do walk home from work when I do late shifts, which happens often and I feel safe as I know the way well, I'm fit etc... but I would not do this after having drunk. At the end of the day, you have to know yourself and look after yourself, that's what it boils down to.

Edit: I can't edit a previous post so I'll say this here; I said earlier that alcohol makes one more sociable etc... and less shy towards people of the opposite sex and just wanted to add and people of the same sex too .

Why do some women get turned on when they drink lots of alcohol?
Probably because alcohol lowers inhibitions.

I agree it's not safe to walk home drunk. So a sober woman would probably decide not to walk home drunk. 😉

How is it paranoia to decide not to do something you can't do anyway (walking home drunk while you are sober)?

Like I said, I think he meant it as a joke...

Please excuse my lack of humour but was it funny to you? As a joke, I find it a tad offensive actually.

Made me smile... Should I be ashamed of myself? 😉

How is it NOT?

Well, consider the alternative. If I would decide to walk home drunk while sober, I would realize (since I am not drunk, I am capable of logical thinking) that this is impossible. So I would have to revise my decision and just walk home sober. Which again would make me paranoid in your view. So it seems I can't avoid being paranoid.

Oh, all that sounds very paranoid to me.
I think you're repressing your impulses.

But, WATCH OUT!!!! repression of the impulses results in paranoia...

Careful, everyone: FQ is looking to smite another offender. Don't be the unwise straggler separated from the herd.

She'll get over it.
Or not.
Either way, who cares?
