@sonhouse saidTrumps abysmal handling of this pandemic could be the one thing that gets your inept party into the White House.

COULD cost lives. Sure, what an understatement.
Anyone who thinks Trump is doing a great job is BLIND.

@divegeester saidI’m not so sure. He’s already developing a conspiracy theory involving the WHO and the Chinese government at the highest levels. Anytime now he will have done a beautiful job, probably the most beautiful job ever of saving the US from this conspiracy single handed.

@divegeester saidThe US is on average with the rest of the tested nations. It is the biggest nation that does test.
Total test tests proportion of population the US is way behind Italy and Korea. Daily tests by proportion of population US is behind Italy.
@divegeester saidIf there's one thing we've learned it's that we shouldn't underestimate the stupidity of the typical American voter. Even in the best-case scenario Trump will only narrowly lose.

@eladar saidNo it isn’t.

@eladar saidThe fact is, Trump ignored the advice of medical experts. If the U.S. had ramped up testing per capita, we could have targeted areas of the country that needed to self isolate. I live in Waukesha Co. Wisconsin. I know people who have all the symptoms and are told to not come in for testing. Just stay home. Call 911 if you struggle with breathing. The U.S. does not have accurate numbers of infected individuals. In addition, Trump and other conservatives are still sending mixed messages on CDC recommendations for flattening the curve. As a result, not enough people are self isolating. In less than 4 years, Trump has trashed our country on so many levels.
I said more tests, not higher rate per one thousand.
Atm, US is over 2.2 million

Per capita is what counts. South Korea has tested 1-in-170 people; the United States: 1-in-1,090.That's more than six times less, per capita, than South Korea.
