I remember trying that method. I complained about the moderation to the administration once and my reply was "I'm sorry, we don't get involved with the moderators or the forums."
I'm sure belguimfreak though gets 10-20 pms a day about moderation problems. He is probably so inundated that he wouldn't even be able to respond to any but the most serious ones.

The right thing for whoever closed the threads would be declare who they are and provide an explanation (including why they don't close all the other threads).
