I use the Huffington Post everyday as a free on-line news source that is (generally) easily navigable. I also use other non-pay resources on pretty much a daily basis: Business Insider, USA Today and the news list on Finviz.com (which is a good portal to Forbes, WSJ, Bloomberg and some other more “conservative” sites), sometimes BBC, among others.
And I will continue to do so. But am I the only one that is sick and tired of Huffpo simply changing the headline title to seduce me into clicking once again on an already-read story? On what is, in fact, old news? (And we all know that their headline writers are probably among the most rhetorically inflammatory, right? But we really don’t take our news encapsulated in headlines, right?)
No debate here, just a rant.
EDIT: Also photos that are divorced in time and content from the actual story. (But we don't take our news encapsulated in photos or clever sound-bites either, do we?)
